Environmental: We Are Green

We are actively working to minimise the environmental impact of our activity and shift towards a more efficient, responsible and environmentally respectful model.

Energy efficiency and commitment to renewable energy

  1. 1

We operate a 1,200 kWp photovoltaic plant for self-consumption, which covers more than 15% of our annual energy consumption.

  2. 2

All our electricity is supplied with a Guarantee of Origin.

  3. 3

We have replaced our old steam boilers with more efficient equipment, reducing gas consumption.

100% renewable origin
15% self-generated
Commitment:

Based on 2025 results (57% renewable energy and 15% photovoltaic self-consumption), we are committed to improving these indicators in the coming years.

We will progressively increase the use of renewable energy, with defined targets, and reduce energy consumption through improvements in the efficiency of our equipment and facilities.

Carbon footprint, emissions reduction and sustainable mobility

At Inibsa, we measure our emissions and consumption. This is a key step in defining our decarbonisation and emissions reduction plan.

We are also progressively renewing our vehicle fleet, replacing combustion engines with more sustainable alternatives.

In addition, we provide 30 free electric vehicle charging points at our facilities to encourage employees to purchase electric vehicles.

Commitment:

In 2026, we will approve Inibsa’s Sustainable Mobility Plan, which will set out the company’s measures and targets to encourage the reduction of emissions associated with employees’ commuting. Likewise, we will continue developing our reduction plan and align actions with the objective of reducing emissions, setting measurable targets year by year.

Water footprint and water reuse

We use groundwater in our production, which requires treatment through reverse osmosis that generates a significant volume of reject water. In 2025, we installed a new treatment plant that allows us to recover reject water from previous treatment processes and reintroduce it into the system, thereby reducing consumption and increasing the volume of reused water.

92.363 Total water consumption 2025 (m³)
89.658 Well water (m³)
10.215 Reused water (m³)
3% • Total water efficiency + recycling, improvement versus 2024
Commitment:

Continue optimising the water cycle, minimising the use of external resources.

Responsible waste management

We recycle 90% of the waste generated annually at our plant, and we also apply responsible waste management criteria in our processes. We have recycling bins distributed throughout our facilities and encourage waste recycling among our employees.

Commitment:

Continue working to minimise the volume of non-recyclable waste generated by our activity. Promote circularity and eco-design in the products we manufacture and distribute, ensuring compliance with packaging waste regulations.
