Injectable anaesthetics

SCANDINIBSA 2% 1:100,000 SOLUTION FOR INJECTION

Offer your patients a local anaesthetic with lower vasodilating effect. Scandinibsa 2% with an associated vasoconstrictor is indicated for medium duration procedures. Its specific 1:100,000 formulation with epinephrine ensures suitable ischaemia during surgical procedures.

Indications

SCANDINIBSA 2% 1:100,000 SOLUTION FOR INJECTION is a local anaesthetic indicated for local and regional anaesthesia in dental procedures for adults, adolescents, and children over 4 years of age (with a body weight of approximately 20 kg).

Duration

ONSET OF ACTION: 2-3 min
PULPAL ANAESTHESIA: 60 min
SOFT TISSUE: 180-300 min

Composition

Mepivacaine HCl 2% + Epinephrine 1:100,000

Each ml contains:

  • Mepivacaine hydrochloride 20.00 mg
  • Epinephrine 0.01 mg

Presentation

Boxes of 50 or 100 cartridges of 1.8 ml (subject to market availability), with transparent blisters of 10 cartridges each.

Uses

Infiltration and perineural use in the oral cavity. For use in dental anaesthesia only. Single-use cartridges.
